just found this, will save time for new toons/old unused toons. to transfer chat settings just
game neeeds to be closed
go to C:Users
AppDataLocalSWTORswtorsettings copy file from toon with settings you want to copy – he6124_Byvoa_PlayerGUIState
drop in another location, rename to name of new/old unused toon – he6124_Byv_PlayerGUIState
then copy/paste back into C:Users
AppDataLocalSWTORswtorsettings log back into game
